Social capital in any system is based on trust and honesty, and as this trust increases, the amount of social capital will increase, but if mutual trust decreases and people do not trust each other, this will be opposed to social capital. Takes. Unfortunately, in today's Iranian society, not only is the weakness of honesty abundant at most levels of society, but it has become the norm and an inevitable part of life. The Qur'an, as the written culture of the Muslim community, can provide a way to identify the causes, effects, and consequences of this failure.
The main question of the research is what are the social factors, interactions and effects of weakness of honesty (lies) in the teachings of the Qur'an.
In this study, six factors of lying are found among the teachings of the Qur'an, which are done through deceptive interactions to justify speech instruments, persuasive literature, and the expression and stimulation of false feelings and emotions.
