[English]

The concept of Nasr (divine support) in the semantic system of the Holy Qur’an goes beyond mere assistance or physical victory; rather, it signifies a systematic relationship between divine will and the striving of believers. This study, employing a descriptive–analytical method and drawing upon authoritative Qur’anic commentaries, seeks to elucidate the nature of divine support and to distinguish it from related concepts such as ‘awn (assistance) and najāh (deliverance), while also examining its place within the framework of the divine laws (sunan ilāhiyyah). Within this framework, “unseen aid” (imdad al‑ghaybī) is analyzed as one of the most prominent mechanisms of divine support, manifested in forms such as the descent of angels, the casting of fear into the hearts of enemies, and the sending down of tranquility (sakīnah) upon believers. The findings indicate that divine support is a law‑governed phenomenon conditioned upon factors such as faith, sincerity, steadfastness, unity, and reliance upon God, and it does not necessarily correspond to immediate or purely material victories. Finally, through the application of this theoretical model to the analysis of the “Twelve‑Day War,” the study explains how Qur’anic concepts can illuminate the non‑material dimensions of conflict—such as the strategic resilience of the Resistance front and the enemy’s failure to achieve its ultimate objectives despite its superior military equipment. This approach opens a new avenue for a realistic analysis of contemporary developments in light of Qur’anic promises.
