This research, with an analytical and semantic approach, deals with a comparative study of six key concepts in the semantic field of "settlement and stillness" in the Holy Quran, including: "establishment, stability, dwelling, adnan, labth, and maqth." The main goal is to explain the concepts and understand the expressive subtleties of the Quran using an analytical-descriptive method. The findings show that "establishment" implies continuous stability and permanence in place and is the opposite of "unsteadiness." "Sakn" emphasizes inner peace and the disappearance of anxiety and is opposed to "movement and distress." "Adnan" is a symbol of eternal residence accompanied by lasting affection and blessings. "Labth" and "maqth" both imply temporary residence accompanied by waiting; The difference is that "مَکْث" has the semantic load of "stability with expectation", while "لَبْث" focuses on the temporary passage of time. "Istuwa" is also in a separate system and its semantic core is "balance, endurance and equality of parts". Finally, this research shows that the Holy Quran presents a rich network of concepts related to "rest and tranquility" with semantic precision, each word expressing a specific quality, duration and spiritual condition of residence and tranquility, and has a comprehensive view of the different levels of human existence.
