The Holy Qur'an has described the actions of each person on the basis of his/her "shakeleh" and this point has become the source of a variety of views and conclusions; If "shakeleh" has deeply rooted in every body`s creation, the diversity of human nature and a kind of compulsion in behaving are its possible consequences, and if this is a spontaneous phenomenon, the discovery of the contexts and factors involved in it, will be important. This paper tries to describe the concept and purpose of "shakeleh" and it’s shaping factors by examining the related verses and narratives in a descriptive-analytic and library methods.The results show that the"shakeleh" of human is a self-made moral personality and a secondary temperament that forms under the influence of factors such as genetic backgrounds, hereditary and personality, instincts, innate tendencies, intelligence, social environment and peripheral culture, and also selection. Hence, while eliminating determinism in actions, the role of ethics and education in creating "shakeleh", and on the contrary the role of "shakeleh" in the emergence of behaviors, the problem of Intention and its purity, and the problem of immortality will become clear. The result of this study in different domains of Islamic studies like determinism and choice, immortality, the nature and philosophy of ethics, educational sciences, and some moral knowledge such as purity has obvious applications.
