The presence of the People of the Book and especially the Jews can be seen under the sources of revelation that are reported for Surah Al-Kahf and some of its adventures, such as Sahib Al-Jannat. Also, scholars refer to the "Hezbain" in verse 12 as Jews and Christians. In addition to this, referring to stories such as Companions of the Cave and Dhul-Qarnain, which have a Christian and Jewish flavor, raises the hypothesis of the presence of people of the book among the audience of this surah. This is while the majority of commentators consider Surah Kahf to be Meccan and do not believe in the presence of the People of the Book in Mecca. That's why they try to justify these interpretations, adventures and causes of descent. The current research aims to identify the audience of Surah with the help of historical reconstruction method. For this purpose, first by dating this surah with the help of the lists of revelation, it determines the time of its revelation at the same time as the Prophet's trip to Taif in the tenth year of the Prophet's Prophethood. The audience identification of this surah also indicates the existence of commonalities between the audience of Surah Kahf and the residents of Taif; The audience, which includes not only polytheists, but also Christian and Jewish people of the book, and confirms the stories of this surah, the means of its revelation, the Foreign vocabulary, the context of the surah, and its historical reports.
