Abstract

Talent management, as one of the key components of human resource management, plays an unparalleled role in the excellence of organizations in today's competitive era. However, many common systems lack a deep connection with indigenous and religious values, and this deficiency, especially in religious organizations, reduces the productivity and sustainability of talents. The aim of this research is to extract Quranic themes related to Islamic values governing talent management and to present a model based on revelation teachings. This research was conducted with a qualitative method and a content analysis approach. The study population was the verses of the Holy Quran and authentic interpretations, and through purposeful sampling, 47 verses related to the concepts of talent, agency, training, and human evaluation were selected and analyzed. After initial coding, 128 open codes were extracted and categorized into 21 basic themes, 6 organizing themes, and 3 overarching themes. The findings show that the Holy Quran has outlined three key strategies for talent management based on Islamic values: "Selection and recruitment based on divine merits" (with themes of justice-oriented, scientific orientation, trustworthiness, and piety), "Targeted cultivation and excellence with a purification and education approach" (with themes of purification, wisdom education, consultation-oriented, and insight-enhancing), and "Continuous retention and evaluation with a monitoring and accounting approach" (with themes of contracting, internal and external supervision, corrective feedback, and justice in rewards). The extracted model can serve as a native and efficient framework to guide human resource managers of religious institutions
