Abstract
The precise selection of divine names at the end of the verses of the Holy Quran is one of the manifestations of the rhetorical inimitability of this divine book, which deepens the coherence and semantic richness of the surahs. Using a descriptive-analytical approach and emphasizing the analysis of context and content of the verses, this article examines the semantic function of divine names at the end of the verses of Surah al-Mujādalah. The aim is to clarify the divine wisdom behind these measured choices and to explain their role in strengthening the main themes of the surah, particularly confronting the current of opposition and enmity towards God and the Prophet (PBUH), as well as dealing with the hypocritical behavior of some individuals. The results show that each of the divine names has been chosen precisely and in accordance with the content of each verse, and has a deep connection with the overall message of the surah. The divine names at the end of the verses are not merely decorative or confirmatory; rather, they play active functions such as emphasizing God's complete supervision (e.g., Samīʿ, Baṣīr, ʿAlīm, Khabīr), creating a balance between divine law and mercy (e.g., ʿAfuww, Ghafūr, Raḥīm), warning and reminding the obstinate (e.g., Shahīd), and guaranteeing the victory of the truth front (e.g., Qawī, ʿAzīz). The purposeful arrangement of these names organizes the semantic structure of the surah and makes its doctrinal and educational messages more prominent and enduring for the audience.
