Descriptive semantics reviews the relation of term “pray” with the relevant words in the Quran. There is semantic relation between “pray” and the application of the revealed of words such as seek, call, implore, supplicate, worship, seeking forgiveness and… . One of the important conclusions drawn from the semantic fields of prayer is revealing the deep semantic connection of the pray with the other words of the same field in the Quran. These nexus made the term pray influenced completely under the adjacent words and the semantic system available in the Quran. Exploring these nexus and clearing the semantic development of the pray, this article deals with the evolutionary process of man as a semantic approach in accordance with its degrees. این نوشتار در صدد تبیین جایگاه معنایی «دعا» در قرآن به شیوة معناشناسی توصیفی است. معناشناسی توصیفی، ارتباط واژة دعا را با کلمات مرتبط با آن در قرآن بررسی می‌کند. در کاربرد وحیانی، واژه‌هایی مانند: طلب، ندا، استغاثه، تضرع، عبادت، استغفار و... با دعا ارتباط معنایی دارند.از نتایج مهم ترسیم میدانهای معنایی دعا، آشکار شدن پیوند معناییِ عمیقِ دعا با سایر واژه‌های مرتبط با آن در قرآن است. این پیوندها باعث شده تا این واژة کاملاً تحت تأثیر کلمات مجاور و نظام معنایی مستقر در آن قرار گیرد. در این مقاله با بررسی این پیوندها و روشن شدن توسعة معنایی دعا، به روند تکاملی انسان بر حسب مراتب او، به عنوان رهیافت معناشناسی پرداخته می‌شود. https://qd.razavi.ac.ir/article_1231_b886bf7d7d2795937bc89a216c6f92fd.pdf
